The Role: Reporting directly to the hospital owner and medical director, the Veterinary Practice Manager will oversee the operations of both locations. This is a hands-on leadership role with broad responsibilities—perfect for a confident multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your work will ensure clinical efficiency, financial health, and an exceptional experience for both clients and team members. You’ll manage people, processes, and performance—with the freedom to be creative and the support to succeed. Key Responsibilities (Aligned with VHMA Core Competencies): - Leadership & HR: Hire, train, and inspire a talented team of veterinary professionals across both hospitals. Promote a positive culture of accountability, learning, and professional growth. - Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, oversee payroll and inventory, and track key performance indicators to ensure sustainable growth. Operations Management: Maintain daily operations, regulatory compliance, and support strategic planning initiatives across both locations. - Client Relations: Champion outstanding customer service and ensure a warm, professional environment for every client and patient. - Technology & Communication: Leverage veterinary practice software and internal communication tools to ensure continuity and efficiency across both sites. - Community Engagement: Represent our hospitals in the community and lead marketing efforts to grow client engagement and loyalty.
