Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center (EPVMC) is a 24/7 Small Animal Emergency and Specialty Referral Hospital located in the Lehigh Valley and serving the surrounding Eastern Pennsylvania veterinary community. We are an independent practice seeking Veterinary Technicians to join our expanding team! At EPVMC, we are committed to delivering high quality medicine in an environment that fosters teamwork, collaboration and fun! We have a well-established emergency and critical care service located in our 20,000 sq. ft. hospital equipped with 7 oxygen cages, complete in-house laboratory including digital cytology, digital radiography, 6 surgery suites, 64-slice GE Lightspeed CT, 1.5T GE MRI, GE OEC C-Arm, and two isolation suites. Our current specialties include: critical care, emergency, internal medicine, neurology, ophthalmology, and surgery.

Veterinary Criticalist (DACVECC) Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center in Allentown, PA is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Board Eligible or Board Certified Criticalist to our team. Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center (EPVMC) has full in-house laboratory capabilities, two isolation suites, 6 ICU oxygen kennels, GE Versana point of care ultrasound, 6 surgical suites, fluoroscopy (C-arm), 64-slice GE Lightspeed CT with fluoroscopy package, 1.5T GE MRI, GE Fortis ultrasound, holmium laser, dental suite with cone beam CT and digital dental radiography, and Karl Stortz endoscopy. To learn more about us visit us here https://epvmc.com/ WHAT YOU’LL DO Oversee and manage ICU patients, including trauma, sepsis, shock, respiratory distress, metabolic crises, and postoperative critical cases. Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including point-of-care ultrasound, arterial/central line placement, and continuous hemodynamic monitoring. Provide expert guidance on emergency stabilization, triage, and case management for ER and ICU staff. Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, prognoses, and ongoing updates. Collaborate with specialty departments (surgery, internal medicine, neurology, etc.) to deliver comprehensive patient care. Lead and participate in CPR events following RECOVER guidelines. Contribute to the development and improvement of ICU protocols, workflows, and training programs. Mentor and support veterinarians, technicians, and support staff through rounds, case reviews, and teaching opportunities.
