Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center (EPVMC) is a 24/7 Small Animal Emergency and Specialty Referral Hospital located in the Lehigh Valley and serving the surrounding Eastern Pennsylvania veterinary community. We are an independent practice seeking Veterinary Technicians to join our expanding team! At EPVMC, we are committed to delivering high quality medicine in an environment that fosters teamwork, collaboration and fun! We have a well-established emergency and critical care service located in our 20,000 sq. ft. hospital equipped with 7 oxygen cages, complete in-house laboratory including digital cytology, digital radiography, 6 surgery suites, 64-slice GE Lightspeed CT, 1.5T GE MRI, GE OEC C-Arm, and two isolation suites. Our current specialties include: critical care, emergency, internal medicine, neurology, ophthalmology, and surgery.

The Role As a Client Service Representative at EPVMC, you are the first voice clients hear and the first face they see. In moments that are often stressful, emotional, or overwhelming, you bring calm, clarity, and compassion. You are not “just answering phones.”You are guiding clients through uncertainty.You are helping families make decisions.You are the connection between the client and the medical team. This role requires strong communication, emotional intelligence, and the ability to think clearly in a fast-paced, 24/7 hospital environment. What You’ll Do Greet clients and patients with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency Answer multi-line phones and triage calls appropriately Check patients in and out, ensuring accuracy of information and documentation Communicate clearly with medical teams regarding patient arrivals and client needs Provide estimates, collect payments, and review invoices with clients Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby environment Assist with scheduling appointments and managing hospital flow Support difficult conversations with compassion, including emergency situations and end-of-life care Ensure all client interactions align with hospital policies and standards What We’re Looking For Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stay calm and organized in high-pressure situations A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help wherever needed Attention to detail Comfort working in an emotional environment, including emergencies and euthanasia cases Previous customer service experience required (veterinary experience preferred but not required) Benefits Our Comprehensive benefit package includes: Medical, dental, and vision insurance  401(k) with a total company match up to 4%, after 6 months of employment  Generous paid time off and flexible scheduling  Continuing education allowance and professional development support  Mental Health Resources  Company paid bonding leave or applicable state provided bonding leave  Perks for Your Pets Too!
