Requirements
A technology-forward general practice where veterinarians work one clinical flow per shift, with dedicated support, virtual care coverage, and a Lead Veterinarian role focused on medical standards and doctor development. The hospital uses a structured approach to general practice designed to give doctors more control over their day. Shifts are organized around a single flow, such as appointments, urgent cases, or procedures, rather than asking one veterinarian to manage everything at once. An in-house technology platform handles much of the administrative work, while a 24/7 virtual care team provides an additional layer of support for patients. The Lead Veterinarian will continue practicing while also helping guide the medical team. The role includes mentoring associate doctors around medical quality, client communication, record keeping, efficiency, and professional development, as well as working alongside the Clinic Manager on standards and team engagement. The hospital provides dedicated in-clinic support staff and structured onboarding, with mentorship and continuing education built into the wider organization. The practice is designed around consistent medical standards and a blame-free approach to learning and development. For the Lead Veterinarian, that means having a defined role in shaping how medicine is practiced, supporting associate doctors, and contributing to initiatives focused on making veterinary work more sustainable.
