We are a multi-doctor, rapidly growing, in demand veterinary hospital. We are always looking for veterinarians, RVTs and Veterinarian Assistants to add to our busy staff. In this practice, the owner and staff care about work-life balance. That means the needs of our staff come first so the needs of our patients are met. About our practice: We are a fast-paced, tech savvy, innovative AAHA certified practice provides high quality veterinary care to our community by putting the needs of our patient first. Educating our clients, communicating with other local practices, and working with local agencies to create a community of health for our Four-Legged friends & family. We have two practices located in the same hospital facility; a day-time General Practice open 7 days a week (7:30 am - 4 or 5 pm) and a night-time Urgent Care Practice (4 or 5 pm - 10 pm) open 5 days a week (Fri-Tues).

Job Description

We are an AAHA certified Multi-doctor practice looking to add more veterinarians to our busy practice. We have immediate opening for full and/or part time companion animal veterinarian for a growing but well-established general practice providing quality medicine to a large friendly client base. General medical cases are a big part of our practice along with preventative care and routine surgery cases. Applicants should be able to perform spays, neuters and basic surgery procedures. We also perform general dental procedures as part of the surgery rotation. Additional surgical techniques can be learned as cases are presented and CE is attended (CE is paid for by practice). We have an in-house lab (CBC, Chem profiles, Coag profiles, I-stat and more), ECG, tonometer, three anesthesia machines, several IV pumps, advanced dental equipment, ultrasound, 6 large exam rooms, large reception area and well stocked pharmacy. We have lots of diagnostic and treatment equipment for your use. Our staff are dedicated, experienced and friendly; with a doctor to staff ratio of 2 1/2 staff per doctor. The practice is in a small town that is within a few minutes of several metropolitan areas. Referral and after-hour emergency services nearby for our patients. We also have an after-hour urgent care up through 9:30 for your patients as well. We see a variety of cases from general medicine, urgent care, and surgical cases for dogs and cats. We have a full lab that allows veterinarians to get immediate test results and be able to plan diagnostics, evaluate results, and develop a treatment plan. We are happy to welcome new grads or experienced veterinarians. Mentoring is provided, if needed.
