Requirements
We are seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join a high-volume, 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital in the Hudson Valley region of New York, serving the greater NYC area. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse and fast-paced caseload while working alongside experienced specialists and a highly skilled emergency support team. The hospital provides full emergency and critical care services with advanced on-site diagnostics and monitoring capabilities, enabling rapid and informed clinical decision-making. Veterinarians will have access to specialty support across multiple disciplines, allowing for collaborative management of complex and critical cases. In this role, the veterinarian will assess and treat emergency cases, stabilize critical patients, perform urgent procedures, and communicate effectively with pet owners during high-stress situations. Strong clinical judgment, efficiency, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. This position is ideal for a veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced emergency setting and is looking to further develop their emergency and critical care skills within a well-supported, high-standard clinical environment.
