The practice has access to advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including ultrasound and advanced orthopedic procedures, providing veterinarians with opportunities to manage varied and clinically interesting cases. Doctors work alongside a supportive paraprofessional team, helping maintain efficient workflows while allowing veterinarians to concentrate on patient care and client relationships. The practice places a strong emphasis on clinical excellence, collaboration and continued professional development. Veterinarians have access to structured mentorship, continuing education and additional clinical resources to help develop their medical and surgical capabilities. Located near Rochester and Lake Ontario, Webster combines suburban living with convenient access to waterfront recreation, parks, dining, entertainment and the amenities of the greater Rochester area. Responsibilities Provide high-quality preventative, diagnostic, medical and surgical care to small animal patients. Diagnose medical conditions and develop appropriate individualised treatment plans. Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and their pets. Clearly communicate clinical findings, treatment recommendations and ongoing care plans. Educate clients on preventative healthcare and responsible pet wellbeing. Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other clinical support professionals. Utilise advanced diagnostic capabilities, including ultrasound, where appropriate. Participate in surgical and more advanced clinical cases according to experience and interests. Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high clinical standards. Participate in continuing education and ongoing professional development. Contribute to a positive and collaborative practice culture. Candidate Profile Applicants should hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree and be licensed, or eligible for licensure, to practise veterinary medicine in New York. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to high-quality small animal medicine and compassionate client care. Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach and a positive professional attitude are important. An interest in developing additional clinical skills, including diagnostic imaging, surgery or orthopedics, would be welcomed but is not essential.
