Many patients look to us as their one-stop for all their needs. Our clinic is equipped with an in-house laboratory, pharmacy, and radiology to optimize our range of diagnostics. We utilize laser therapy to reduce pain and recovery time in our surgical suites.
Requirements
**$2,000 Sign-On Bonus or Relocation Stipend Available** Our Hours of Operation are: Monday through Friday 8:30 am – 6:00 pm Saturday 8:30 am – 2:30 pm We are closed on Sundays We’re looking for: An actively Licensed Veterinary Technician, or license eligible in the state of NY. All levels of experience are encouraged to apply! If you do not hold an active NY LVT license, you must be eligible for taking the VTNE as well as take and pass it within 3 months of hire. A high work ethic and positive attitude team member Ability to arrive on-time and ready to work Some Saturday availability Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate precisely Interpret medical records and record client history accurately Knowledge in preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital flow Ability to restrain pets in a low-stress and safe manner Proficient in sample collection to include blood samples, urine, fecal, and skin Ability to properly set-up and process laboratory samples and tests Proficient in positioning and capturing radiographs, positioning for dental radiographs are a plus Proficient in anesthesia and surgical monitoring A self-starter with the desire to continue to advance one’s knowledge and skillset Ability to receive in a professional manner constructive feedback to maintain hospital efficiency Pay range: $30 - $35/hour depending on experience level
