Associate Veterinarian - Westchester County, NY Schedule: Full Time – 4 days per week, approximately 40 hours Weekends: Rotating Saturdays (approximately one per month) Salary: Base from $145,000 – $165,000, plus production (DOE) About the Practice: An established privately owned small-animal veterinary hospital in Westchester County is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative and patient-focused team. The practice has been serving the local community for many years and is known for delivering high-quality veterinary care with a compassionate, low-stress approach for pets and their families. The hospital offers modern diagnostic capabilities and a broad range of services, including preventive care, internal medicine, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, and advanced diagnostics such as digital imaging and ultrasound. In addition to conventional medicine, the practice incorporates integrative and holistic therapies when appropriate, creating a well-rounded approach to patient care. The Role: The incoming veterinarian will see a varied caseload primarily involving small animals and pocket pets, providing both wellness and medical care. Responsibilities include: Wellness and preventative medicine appointments Medical case workups and diagnostics Routine soft-tissue surgery and dentistry Collaboration with a supportive clinical team Building strong relationships with clients through education and communication This position is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys high-quality medicine, individualized patient care, and working in a collaborative private-practice environment.
