Job Description

We are partnering with a well-established, AAHA accredited small animal and exotics practice in Rye, NY that is hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian. The hospital has served its community for more than 40 years and recently opened a second location close by, so this is a chance to join a team that is growing without losing the culture that got it here. You would work across both hospitals, which keeps the caseload varied and gives you exposure to different teams and client populations. Rotating shifts are available and schedules can be shaped around both business needs and your own preferences. Support is a real strength here. You would be joining 7 collaborative veterinarians, many of whom have been with the practice for 8 years or more, alongside roughly 30 support staff including experienced technicians, assistants, and CSRs, with around a 3:1 staff to doctor ratio. The caseload covers medicine, surgery, and dentistry for dogs and cats, plus birds, reptiles, pocket pets, and the occasional wildlife patient. The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound with color Doppler, laser surgery, an ICU, and a dedicated exotic and avian treatment space. Clients also value the on-site boarding and grooming, which makes the practice a trusted one-stop resource locally. For those thinking long term, there may be a pathway to practice partnership down the line.
