Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Small Animal Medical Director to lead clinical services within an established companion animal practice in Old Bridge, New Jersey. This full-time leadership opportunity is ideal for a confident veterinarian who wants to combine hands-on medicine with mentorship, team development, and responsibility for maintaining excellent clinical standards. The role remains actively clinical, with opportunities to manage general medicine, diagnostics, surgery, treatment planning, and comprehensive companion animal healthcare. Considerable clinical autonomy allows you to continue practicing the medicine you enjoy while also helping shape protocols, strengthen medical quality, and contribute to the continued development of veterinary services. As Medical Director, you will work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support professionals, guiding clinical decision-making, mentoring developing doctors, improving treatment protocols, and supporting the long-term growth of the practice. Leadership development resources are available for both established Medical Directors and experienced veterinarians ready to progress into a senior clinical leadership position. This position is ideal for a veterinarian seeking strong earning potential, flexible salary or production-based compensation with no negative accrual, comprehensive benefits, generous continuing education support, retirement contributions, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both patient care and the professional development of the veterinary team.
