This opportunity offers something a little different from a traditional single-location GP role. You’ll have the ability to work across two collaborative hospitals, giving you exposure to different teams, client populations, and cases while remaining within the same local practice group. The caseload includes comprehensive medicine, surgery, and dentistry for dogs and cats, with opportunities to work with exotic species for veterinarians who have that interest. Compensation • $125,000–$150,000 annual salary • Additional production compensation • Sign-on bonus available • Relocation assistance available Schedule • Full-time • Rotating shifts available • Scheduling flexibility across two nearby locations • Doctors may rotate between hospitals based on scheduling preferences and practice needs • Paid holidays, PTO, and paid CE time The two-hospital structure can provide additional flexibility as the team continues to grow. Clinical Variety You’ll have the opportunity to practice comprehensive medicine across a diverse caseload that can include: • Wellness and preventative care • Internal medicine • Soft tissue surgery • Dentistry • Diagnostic imaging • Sick and urgent cases • Dogs and cats • Birds, reptiles, and pocket pets for interested veterinarians Exotics experience is not presented as a requirement, making this an interesting option both for a traditional small animal GP and a veterinarian who wants to maintain or expand their exotics experience. Technology & Resources The hospitals offer access to a strong range of diagnostic, dental, surgical, and critical-care capabilities, including: • Digital radiography • Digital dental radiography • Ultrasound with advanced imaging capabilities • Surgical technology • ICU capabilities • Dedicated resources for exotic and avian patients Strong Clinical Support One of the biggest advantages of this opportunity is the level of support surrounding the doctors. The team maintains approximately a 3:1 staff-to-doctor ratio with experienced technicians, assistants, and client service professionals. You’ll also be joining an established multi-doctor environment where collaboration, case discussion, and mentorship are already part of the culture. Benefits • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Retirement benefits • Sign-on bonus • Relocation assistance • Paid time off • Paid holidays • Paid CE days and CE allowance • Professional dues and licensing fees covered • Professional liability coverage • Pet care discounts • Employee Assistance Program Future Growth & Partnership The organization is actively expanding in Westchester County, creating additional opportunities for veterinarians who want to grow with the team. For DVMs interested in a longer-term path beyond an Associate position, future partnership opportunities may also be available. Who We’re Looking For • DVM or VMD degree • Active New York veterinary license or ability to obtain one • Interest in comprehensive small animal medicine • Comfortable with or interested in surgery and dentistry • Collaborative and team-oriented • Strong client communication skills • Interest in exotics is welcomed but not required • Comfortable with the variety that comes from working within a two-hospital team Why Consider This Opportunity This is a particularly interesting fit for a veterinarian who wants more variety without having to leave an established team environment. You’ll have access to two nearby hospitals, strong 3:1 clinical support, a broad medical and surgical caseload, advanced diagnostics, and the option to incorporate exotic medicine into your practice. With two veterinarians being added as the organization expands, you’ll also be joining at a time when there is an opportunity to help shape the continued growth of the team.
