This is a unique opportunity to practice comprehensive medicine, surgery, and dentistry in the Hamptons while having access to affordable onsite housing — a significant benefit for a veterinarian relocating to the area. The hospital is entering an exciting period of growth and is looking for a veterinarian who wants more than simply a place to see appointments. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, help shape workflows and culture, and play a meaningful role in the hospital’s continued development. Housing availability is limited to one cottage and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Schedule • Full-time • Last appointment at 4:30 PM • No on-call responsibilities • Seasonal caseload, with busier months during late spring through early fall and a steadier pace during the off-season Clinical Environment This is a well-equipped small animal practice providing comprehensive care for dogs and cats. Clinical capabilities include: • Digital radiography • Dental radiography • In-house laboratory • Echocardiogram capabilities • Dentistry • Soft tissue surgery • Advanced orthopedic procedures, including TPLO and TTA • Acupuncture and integrative treatment options The hospital combines traditional veterinary medicine with complementary and holistic treatment options, giving doctors exposure to a broader approach to patient care. Support & Culture You’ll work alongside an experienced support team with approximately a 2:1 staff-to-doctor ratio. The culture emphasizes communication, kindness, collaboration, and giving veterinarians a voice in how the hospital continues to evolve. This could be particularly appealing to a DVM who enjoys being part of a smaller team where their ideas and contributions can have a noticeable impact. Benefits • Medical, dental, and vision coverage • Retirement benefits • Paid time off • Paid holidays • Paid CE days and CE allowance • Relocation assistance • Professional dues and licensing fees covered • AVMA-PLIT coverage • Pet care discounts • Employee Assistance Program Who We’re Looking For • DVM or VMD degree • Eligible for or currently holding a New York veterinary license • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience • Comfortable with general medicine and outpatient care • Confidence with spay/neuter, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery • Collaborative and comfortable contributing ideas • Interested in helping a growing hospital continue developing its team and culture Why Consider This Opportunity Finding an opportunity in the Hamptons with both strong compensation and affordable housing is unusual. At $145K–$160K base plus production, bonuses, relocation support, no on-call responsibilities, and a 3-bedroom onsite cottage for $1,250/month, this package removes a significant portion of the usual cost-of-living challenge associated with relocating to the area. You’ll also be joining a long-established hospital that is actively investing in its next phase rather than simply filling an open position.
