Associate Veterinarian – Experienced DVM - Greater Albany / Capital Region, New York $120,000–$150,000 + ProSal | Sign-On Bonus | 35–40 Hours | 20-Minute Appointments | Strong 3:1 Support The Opportunity An established, well-equipped small animal hospital in New York’s Capital Region is looking for an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative multi-doctor team. This is a great opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys variety and wants the ability to practice comprehensive medicine, surgery, and dentistry without sacrificing support or work-life balance. The caseload includes dogs and cats as well as rabbits and pocket pets, with opportunities to see more complex and urgent cases for a DVM who enjoys variety. What You Can Expect • $120,000–$150,000 annual salary + ProSal • Sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates • 35–40 hour full-time schedule • At least one weekday off • Rotating Saturdays • 20-minute appointments • Technician appointments to help maximize doctor time • Approximately 3:1 staff-to-doctor ratio • Experienced licensed technicians, assistants, and CSRs • Light on-call rotation limited to phone triage — no in-clinic emergency coverage Clinical Environment You’ll have the ability to practice comprehensive medicine with access to a strong range of diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including: • Dedicated surgical suite • Dental suite with digital dental radiography • Ultrasound • Therapy laser • In-house diagnostic capabilities • Surgery and dentistry • Routine and complex medical cases • Urgent-care-type cases The hospital is fast-paced and collaborative, with a team that is comfortable taking on challenging cases while supporting one another.
