Requirements
We are working on behalf of a full-service, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Hartsdale, NY that is seeking a DVM ready to step into leadership and grow toward co-ownership. This is a rare chance to do more than practice medicine. You will help guide the direction of a well-established hospital, support and mentor the team, and play a meaningful role in shaping what comes next. The hospital sits in the heart of Hartsdale, just steps from the Metro-North station, making for an easy commute from New York City or the surrounding Westchester communities. It serves a loyal, long-standing client base across Scarsdale, Edgemont, White Plains, and beyond, with a varied caseload spanning preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry. The team is collaborative, well supported, and genuinely enjoys working together, with a strong staff to doctor ratio that lets you focus on great medicine while stepping into mentorship and leadership. The practice partners with an established national group that supports doctor-led hospitals without rebranding them, so the hospital stays locally led and reflective of your leadership. You lead the medicine while they provide operational, financial, HR, recruiting, and marketing support. For the right person, there is a genuine pathway to a structured co-ownership role and the chance to share in the practice's long-term success. A strong foundation is already in place, and it is now ready for the right veterinarian to step in and take it forward.
