Locust Valley Veterinary Clinic is a full service animal hospital in Locust Valley, New York, serving the pets of Locust Valley, Glen Cove and the surrounding towns on Long Island. We offer wellness, sick, and daytime emergency care to our patients. Our office is located on the corner of 9th St and Forest Avenue, approximately 1/2 mile west from the town of Locust Valley. We are located just 12 miles away from our main facility, West Hills Animal Hospital & Emergency Center in Huntington, which provides general practice, emergency, and specialty veterinary care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Join our amazing team as our newest Veterinary Assistant. As an assistant here at Locust Valley Veterinary Clinic, you will be at the heart of our bustling and dynamic environment. This role requires a dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys the rewarding challenge of working closely with both animals and their owners. Your responsibilities will include greeting clients with a warm and professional demeanor, managing appointments, and ensuring smooth communication between the veterinary team and pet owners. Additionally, you will be trained to assist in the safe restraint of cats and dogs during examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety. While the work is demanding, we believe in maintaining a positive and enjoyable atmosphere, where team members can share a laugh and celebrate successes together. If you are passionate about animal care and enjoy engaging with people, this position offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a difference in the lives of pets and their families.
