Requirements
We are seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join a high-acuity, specialty and emergency hospital on Long Island. This role offers the opportunity to work in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment, managing complex and critical cases alongside a team of specialists across disciplines such as surgery, internal medicine, oncology, and critical care. The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, including CT, MRI, multiple ultrasound units, and specialized therapies, enabling comprehensive emergency and referral care. Veterinarians are supported by a highly skilled emergency team, including experienced technicians, ensuring efficient workflows and high standards of patient care. In this role, the veterinarian will assess and stabilize emergency cases, manage critical patients, perform urgent procedures, and collaborate closely with specialists on complex cases. Strong clinical decision-making, adaptability, and effective communication with both clients and the medical team are essential in this fast-paced environment.
