Job Description

We are working on behalf of a long established, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Buffalo, NY that is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its team. This is a hospital with a strong reputation in the community, where doctors are given the tools and support to practice the kind of medicine they trained for. The team is made up of four doctors working alongside 15 skilled LVTs and veterinary assistants, and the hospital is unusually well resourced for a general practice. In addition to GP, there is a board certified surgeon on site, a VTS in anesthesia and analgesia, and an overnight technician caring for hospitalized patients. Doctors have access to digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy and colonoscopy, and a full dental setup including dental radiography. The caseload is small and companion animal focused, and the culture rewards curiosity, teaching, and collaboration. If you enjoy learning from specialists, sharing knowledge with your team, and building lasting client relationships based on trust, you will fit right in. Full time and part time schedules are available, and relief may also be possible. The hospital is open Monday through Saturday, with two later evenings midweek and a short Saturday morning.
