Licensed Veterinary Technician

Cicero Animal Clinic is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery. We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment - managing exam room care, tech appointments, client communication, and hands-on procedural support with confidence and autonomy. We value credentialed technicians for the clinical knowledge, judgment, and communication skills they bring across all areas of the hospital, helping elevate the quality of medicine, client experience, and patient care. Training is considered for the right candidate. In this position, you will: Perform treatments and outpatient procedures with confidence and autonomy Manage exam room workflow, tech appointments, and client demonstrations Provide safe and effective sedation for routine and outpatient needs Lead and support anesthesia monitoring through surgical caseloads Run diagnostic laboratory equipment and interpreting in-house results Drive client education and communication with clarity and compassion Contribute to an organized, efficient treatment floor while mentoring and supporting junior team members Collaborate closely with veterinarians and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care Maintain accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation Schedule and compensation: Compensation: $25.00-$27.00 per hour, for each hour worked Schedule: This is a full-time position, typically scheduled 4 or 5 days per week, Monday-Friday. No weekends and no on-call requirements.
