Company Description Ardsley Veterinary Associates is a well-established, progressive fast-paced 6 doctor general animal practice located in Ardsley, NY. We offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients including preventative care, surgery, urgent care, high speed dentistry, cold laser therapy, in-house diagnostics, digital full body and dental radiology and ultrasonography,  We are located in a vibrant area of Westchester County, and not too far from New York City.  Our practice offers board-certified cardiologist, board-certified internist, and board-certified surgeons that are available for consultation and surgery procedures. Our hours of operation are: Mon - Fri: 8:30 am - 6 pm Sat: 8:30 am - 2 pm (open every other Saturday) We are closed on Sundays To learn more about us click here! Job Description Job duties include, but are not limited to: Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management. Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases. Qualifications We’re looking for: A licensed veterinary technician, 1+ years professional experience is preferred but not required. We are currently open to training a new grad or someone who is eligible and waiting to take the VTNE!
