Job Description

I’m working with a nonprofit veterinary organization in Las Vegas that has evolved from grassroots rescue into a multi-site provider of accessible, low-cost veterinary care. Their second location, originally designed as a spay/neuter and preventative care center has rapidly expanded into a full-service clinic due to overwhelming community demand. This particular role is based at their second site, and offers something quite rare in this organization: a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend work. It’s a fantastic option for a veterinarian who is passionate about access-to-care medicine but also values a more structured and predictable working week. While making an impact, you can enjoy a flexible work-life balance of 4 x 10 hour shifts with no weekends required. The clinic is continuing to grow its capabilities and caseload, now offering a blend of preventative care, medicine appointments and surgery. You’ll have access to diagnostic tools including ultrasound and x-ray, with ongoing investment into equipment and services as the site develops. The environment remains fast-paced, making it a great middle ground between high-volume impact work and sustainability. You’ll be supported by a mission-driven leadership team that prioritizes attitude and purpose over perfection. They are open to shaping the role around your strengths, whether that’s focusing more on surgery, medicine, or a blend of both. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, wants to grow clinically, and values being part of a service that genuinely helps pet owners. Key Highlights (Min 7 bullet points): • Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend requirements • Growing second clinic with increasing case variety and clinical scope • Mix of preventative care, medicine and surgical procedures • Access-to-care mission with strong community impact • Diagnostic capabilities including ultrasound and x-ray • Flexible role structure tailored to your interests and experience • Supportive, purpose-driven team culture About You (Min 5 bullet points): • DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US • You hold (or are eligible for) a licensure in Nevada • Passionate about community-focused, access-to-care veterinary medicine • Comfortable with a mix of GP medicine and routine surgery (spays/neuters) • Keen to develop clinically within a growing hospital environment Benefits (Min 5 bullet points): • Base salary starting around $145,000 - $180,000 per year • Monday–Friday schedule offering excellent work-life balance • Flexibility to shape your role around your clinical interests • Opportunity to grow with an expanding hospital site • Supportive team structure designed to enable efficient workflow
