Love Emergency Medicine? We’re seeking an ER Veterinarian to join a thriving, privately-owned facility in Wayne, NJ. The multi-doctor hospital was founded to bridge the gap between urgent, affordable care and specialty-level medicine and the response from the community has been phenomenal. The team has grown from four people to seventeen in its first year, with plans to continue expanding with a second location in Fort Lee, NJ due to open in 2026. You’ll be joining a stable, supportive environment with low staff turnover, strong mentorship, and a collaborative culture. The hospital is fully equipped with everything you would expect from a modern ER including vessel sealers for surgery, electrocautery, cautery units, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital X-ray, Snyder units, and oxygen cages. Anesthesia-trained technicians are on staff, and the practice manager brings over 20 years of ER and specialty experience, stepping in to assist whenever needed. Overnight shifts here are manageable and well-supported with a dedicated team of technicians and assistants on hand to support you. Whether you are an experienced ER veterinarian or newer to emergency work, you’ll receive the support you need. The owner, an experienced ER clinician, is heavily involved in training and is known for scrubbing into surgeries and upskilling doctors until they are fully confident. The proposed schedule is 3x 12 hour overnight shifts per week, 8pm-8am with future potential to move onto day or mixed shifts. You will be well compensated for your role as an Emergency Veterinarian with a base salary up to $220K for highly experienced clinicians and $165K for newly graduated doctors as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
