This is a great fit for an experienced veterinarian who wants to remain clinically active while taking on a larger role in mentoring doctors, guiding medical standards, supporting team development, and helping shape the next phase of the hospital. The opportunity includes: $165K–$185K base salary Quarterly production bonuses No negative accrual Additional Medical Director stipend Sign-on bonus 401(k) with employer match Paid parental leave Continuing education support Leadership training and mentorship Health, life, and disability benefits Mental health and wellness resources Pet-care discounts and additional employee benefits The hospital currently operates as an urgent care facility and is actively adding general practice services, giving the Medical Director the opportunity to influence how that expanded model develops. The environment is fast-paced, team-oriented, and designed around accessible outpatient care. Candidates should have a DVM/VMD or equivalent, be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey, and hold or be eligible for DEA registration.
