🚨 Weekends Are When the Real Medicine Happens. 🚨 Broken nails. Vomiting dogs. Blocked cats. Lacerations. If your idea of a “slow Saturday” includes triaging three cases at once and loving it — we should talk. Pennsauken Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Weekend Urgent Care Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced, high-skill team. This is not a training role. We want confident, capable technicians who already know urgent care medicine. 🎯 Who We Want (Experience Required) We are looking for: ✅ Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred (CVT/LVT/RVT) ✅ 3+ years of experience in Urgent Care, ER, ICU, or high-volume GP ✅ Strong technical skills and independent thinking ✅ Calm under pressure ✅ Team-oriented and professional You should be comfortable jumping straight into: Triage IV catheter placement Blood draws and diagnostics Sedation assistance Medication calculations without hesitation If you need constant supervision, this isn’t the right fit. If you thrive in controlled chaos — welcome. 💉 What You’ll Be Doing Assist veterinarians with urgent exams and procedures Triage incoming cases Administer treatments, vaccines, and medications accurately Perform diagnostics and lab work Educate clients on treatment plans and home care Maintain detailed electronic medical records Uphold hospital cleanliness and infection-control standards Our hospital is open: 🕗 Monday–Friday: 8am–8pm 🕗 Weekends: 8am–6pm 🌟 Why Pennsauken?
