🌙 Overnight Veterinary Technician (Urgent Care – Nursing Care Focus)

Keep Reading. 🚨 We are hiring an experienced Overnight Veterinary Technician to provide dedicated overnight nursing care for our hospitalized patients. Important to know: 🕘 The hospital is closed overnight. 👩‍⚕️ This is not an open ER shift. 📞 Doctors are on-call (not in the building). This role is focused on skilled monitoring, nursing excellence, and patient advocacy while the rest of the world sleeps. 🎯 Who We Want (Experience Required) We are ONLY considering candidates who have: ✅ Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) – strongly preferred ✅ 3+ years of experience in Urgent Care, Emergency, ICU, or hospital wards ✅ Confidence managing hospitalized patients independently ✅ Strong clinical judgment and communication skills ✅ The ability to prioritize and remain composed without direct in-building DVM supervision 💉 What You’ll Be Doing Monitoring hospitalized patients (TPR, pain scoring, fluid rates, etc.) Administering and calculating medications accurately Managing IV lines, catheters, feeding tubes, and ongoing treatments Performing in-house lab work and diagnostics as needed Maintaining meticulous medical records Communicating with the on-call doctor when necessary Maintaining hospital cleanliness and biosecurity standards No walk-in emergencies.
