Veterinaire Pet Care is a busy, fast-paced, small animal veterinary practice seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and their pets, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can provide exceptional customer service while multitasking with confidence. Responsibilities * Greet clients and patients with professionalism and warmth * Answer multiple phone lines and schedule appointments efficiently * Check clients in and out accurately * Review invoices and process payments * Maintain accurate medical records and client information * Communicate with doctors and technicians regarding patient care * Coordinate follow-up appointments and callbacks * Manage prescription refill requests and incoming records * Assist with emergencies while maintaining a calm and organized front desk * Provide excellent client education and communication Qualifications * Previous veterinary reception experience preferred * Experience with veterinary software (ezyVet, AVImark, Cornerstone, IDEXX Neo, or similar) is a plus * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Strong attention to detail * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment * Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential * Professional appearance and positive attitude * Team-oriented with a willingness to learn We value individuals who are: * Dependable and punctual * Compassionate toward pets and their families * Calm under pressure * Organized and detail-oriented * Positive, respectful, and solution-focused * Able to work independently while contributing to a strong team environment We Offer * Competitive pay based on experience 401K * Paid time off * Employee pet discounts * Supportive team environment * Opportunities for growth
