We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients. We look forward to hearing from you! Part-Time and Full Time Veterinary Technicians. Core Duties & Responsibilities: • - Assist veterinarians in performing medical procedures and surgeries- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinarians- Perform laboratory tests and analyze results- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during procedures- Monitor anesthesia during surgeries- Take x-rays- Provide nursing care to hospitalized animals- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment- Maintain accurate medical records- Clean and maintain equipment and work areas • Requirements: - Certification as a Veterinary Technician or equivalent experience - Strong knowledge of animal husbandry, physiology, and care - Experience in dog handling, animal restraint, and veterinary terminology - Proficiency in laboratory procedures and techniques - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Compassionate nature and genuine love for animals - Attention to detail and ability to multitask Competencies: • Strong desire to work and learn • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to work independently with limited supervision • Desire for growth and development • Ability to perform essential functions of the job without supervision • Good communication skills along with being able to problem solve • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time while still being patient and friendly • Team player with a positive attitude and great personality Education & Experience: Requirements: High School Diploma or GED preferred; 2+ years related experience in Veterinary Medicine WHAT WE OFFER: • An enthusiastic, friendly, and well-trained staff. • A Management team that has a passionate commitment to your happiness and well-being. • A culture comprised of creativity, fairness, and equality. • A position where you can combine your love of animals with your exceptional client service skills. • A place where your ideas are embraced and cultivated. • A tried-and-true training program created by valued CSR input, experience, and ideas.
