Lowell Road Veterinary Center is a state-of-the-art hospital that offers personal, progressive, and comprehensive animal care to dogs and cats in the Southern NH area, 7 days a week. Job Description We’re looking for a full time or part time veterinarian who is a compassionate, team player and strong communicator. We are looking for an individual who can motivate staff and help build and maintain morale as well as our core values and standards. Someone who is able to promote a collaborative working environment, demonstrates “take-charge” capabilities, understands the value of teamwork, and enthusiastically and willingly performs as necessary to help the hospital function as a unit. The ideal candidate would have experience working in an ER or Urgent Care setting and be willing to work evenings. Hours of operation: 6pm-10pm, Mon-Friday; 10am-6pm, Saturdays and Sundays, scheduling is flexible! Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate other equipment as required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Hospital teammates are routinely exposed to a variety of animals that may bite, kick or scratch, and on occasion, may be exposed to anesthesia, radiation, biological or zoonotic hazards and/or medication/controlled substances.
