Location: Bellevue, NE Position Type: Full-Time Schedule: 4-day work week | No weekends | No on-call Practice Type: Small Animal General Practice About the Practice: This well-established companion animal hospital operates from a modern 6,000 sq ft facility designed to support high-quality patient care and efficient workflow. The practice primarily treats dogs and cats, with occasional pocket pet cases, and is equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical technology to support comprehensive veterinary care. Hospital features include: 5 exam rooms Dedicated surgery suite and dental suite Digital radiography, including dental radiology IDEXX in-house laboratory equipment Strong support from 6 Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) Average of 17 appointments per day with 30-minute appointment blocks Dedicated surgery day each week Advanced cases referred to local specialty centers The team has built a strong reputation within the local community and maintains a loyal client base through compassionate care and excellent client communication. Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive wellness and medical examinations Diagnose and treat a variety of small animal medical conditions Conduct routine soft tissue surgical procedures Perform dental procedures and extractions Develop treatment plans and communicate recommendations clearly with clients Maintain accurate and detailed medical records Collaborate closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff Provide high standards of patient care and client service Participate in a positive and collaborative team culture Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate is a compassionate and team-oriented veterinarian with strong communication skills and an interest in practicing high-quality medicine.
