Licensed Veterinary Technician (Relief/Part-Time) Coastal Carolina Animal Hospital | Wilmington, NC Looking for a veterinary team that values your skills, supports your growth, and believes workplace culture matters? Coastal Carolina Animal Hospital is a fast paced, two-doctor general practice located in beautiful Wilmington, North Carolina and just minutes from the beach! We're seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our collaborative and supportive team. We empower our technicians to work at the top of their skill set and provide ongoing opportunities for professional development and technical advancement. What You'll Do -Obtain patient histories and record vital signs -Monitor hospitalized patients and document treatments -Administer medications as directed -Place IV catheters and perform blood draws -Assist veterinarians during exams, procedures, and anesthesia -Process prescription refills and client communications -Admit and discharge patients -Maintain accurate medical records -Support daily hospital operations and patient care What We're Looking For -Current Veterinary Technician license/credential -Prior experience working in a veterinary clinic (required) -Strong communication and multitasking skills -Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment -Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset -Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods If you're an experienced veterinary technician who enjoys delivering excellent patient care while working alongside a supportive team, we'd love to connect with you.
