We’re seeking a high-performing Veterinary Receptionist or Client Service Representative (CSR) who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and understands the critical role communication, organization, and systems play in delivering exceptional patient care. This is an opportunity for a customer service professional with a healthcare, veterinary, or medical office background to step into a role where they serve as the first line of support, a trusted resource for clients, and a key partner to our clinical team. Why This Role Stands Out High-Impact Position – You are the first and last touchpoint in the client journey  Team-Centered Environment – Collaborate closely with DVMs, technicians, and assistants  Fast-Paced & Purpose-Driven – Every interaction directly supports patient outcomes  Growth-Oriented Culture – Opportunities to expand into leadership, training, or operations support  Established & Trusted Practice – Serving the Wilkesboro community since 1958 What You'll Own Deliver a professional, warm, and efficient client experience from check-in to checkout  Manage high-volume phone lines, appointment scheduling, and hospital flow with precision  Accurately maintain electronic medical records (EMR), including client, patient, and financial data  Serve as a communication hub between clients and the medical team to ensure continuity of care  Process payments, review invoices, and confidently explain services and treatment plans Support prescription requests, food orders, and retail coordination Assist in gathering patient histories and verifying vaccine/test status  Triage incoming calls and situations, identifying urgent or emergent cases with sound judgment  Maintain organization and efficiency at the front desk in a high-demand clinical environment What We’re Looking For 1+ year of experience in a client-facing, healthcare, or medical office setting preferred (veterinary experience strongly preferred, but not required for the right candidate)  High school diploma or equivalent required   Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workflow in a fast-paced setting  Strong working knowledge of computer systems, scheduling software, and data entry accuracy  Exceptional communication skills—clear, compassionate, and solution-oriented   Ability to remain calm, professional, and proactive under pressure  Team-first mindset with a commitment to supporting both clients and colleagues   Availability to work four 10-hour shifts per week on a rotating schedule.
