Requirements
Are you looking for a genuinely supportive small animal practice where you can focus on quality medicine—without late nights or on-call? I’m working with a well-established, full-service veterinary hospital in North Carolina that is seeking a Small Animal Veterinarian to join their close-knit and collaborative team. This is a modern, well-equipped facility offering comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental services for dogs and cats. The hospital features in-house ultrasound, digital radiography, and digital dental radiography, allowing for efficient diagnostics and high standards of patient care. With a strong surgical caseload and varied case mix, this opportunity would suit both an experienced veterinarian eager to develop their surgical interests further, and a new graduate looking for hands-on mentorship in a supportive environment. You’ll be joining a team that prides itself on collaboration and respect, with a 2:1 staff-to-doctor ratio ensuring you are well supported throughout your day. The schedule is designed with work-life balance in mind—your last appointment is at 4:30pm, and there are no on-call requirements. The compensation package is competitive, with a base salary ranging from $110,000–$130,000 (DOE), a sign-on bonus available, and a comprehensive benefits offering that supports both your professional growth and personal wellbeing.
