Veterinary Internist – Wilson, North Carolina About the Role An exciting opportunity is available for a Veterinary Internist to join a specialty and emergency hospital in Wilson, North Carolina. The successful veterinarian will have meaningful input into the direction of the department, including clinical workflows, scheduling, equipment requirements and service development. This is an excellent opportunity for a board-certified or residency-trained Internal Medicine specialist looking for greater clinical autonomy while benefiting from an established multidisciplinary referral environment. About the Practice The hospital provides advanced specialty and emergency care for companion animals, with an established referral network and experienced clinical support. Internal Medicine will operate alongside complementary specialty, emergency and critical care services, creating opportunities for collaborative management of complex cases. Veterinarians have access to advanced diagnostic imaging, ultrasound, cross-sectional imaging and comprehensive in-house diagnostic resources, supporting investigation and management of challenging medical conditions. Dedicated clinical space and experienced support staff provide a strong foundation for developing the Internal Medicine service according to patient, veterinarian and referral community needs.
