Veterinary Criticalist – Wilson, North Carolina About the Role An exciting opportunity is available for a ​Veterinary Criticalist to join an established specialty and emergency hospital in Wilson, North Carolina. The position offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits and flexible scheduling, with the opportunity to practise advanced emergency and critical care medicine within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. The successful veterinarian will manage complex emergency and hospitalised patients while working alongside experienced emergency clinicians, specialty veterinarians and dedicated critical care support staff. This opportunity is particularly suited to a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Criticalist looking for a clinically challenging position with access to advanced technology, strong interdisciplinary support and opportunities for teaching and mentorship. About the Practice This established referral hospital provides advanced specialty, emergency and critical care services for companion animals across the surrounding region. The Critical Care service benefits from dedicated clinical support and close collaboration with veterinarians across surgical, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging and emergency disciplines. The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic imaging, comprehensive patient monitoring, respiratory support, minimally invasive diagnostic capabilities and intensive care resources, allowing clinicians to manage a broad range of complex and critically ill patients. A strong emphasis is placed on collaborative medicine, continuing education and professional development. There are also opportunities for specialists interested in clinical teaching, mentorship and training the next generation of veterinary professionals.
