Veterinarian – Rehabilitation - Charlotte, North Carolina $70,000–$120,000 | $25K Sign-On | Full-Time or Part-Time | Dedicated Canine Rehabilitation The Opportunity A growing canine rehabilitation program in Charlotte is looking for a Rehabilitation Veterinarian to join a collaborative team focused on helping dogs recover, regain mobility, manage chronic conditions, and maintain quality of life. This is a dedicated rehabilitation position — not a traditional GP role with rehabilitation added to the caseload. You’ll work in a purpose-built rehabilitation environment with specialized equipment and support while developing individualized treatment plans for patients ranging from post-operative orthopedic cases to senior pets, neurological patients, and sporting or working dogs. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available. Compensation & Schedule • $70,000–$120,000 annual salary • $25,000 sign-on bonus • Full-time or part-time options • Flexible scheduling What You’ll Do You’ll design and lead individualized rehabilitation programs for canine patients with needs that may include: • Recovery following orthopedic surgery • Arthritis and chronic mobility conditions • Neurological disease • Pain management • Weight management • Senior pet mobility and quality of life • Strength and conditioning • Sporting and working dog conditioning Treatment plans are individualized to each patient, with the ability to adjust therapy as progress, mobility, strength, and comfort change. Dedicated Rehabilitation Environment You’ll have access to a fully equipped rehabilitation suite with resources including: • Underwater treadmill • Indoor swimming pool • Therapeutic laser • Therapeutic ultrasound • Dedicated strength and balance areas • Therapeutic massage • Stretching and manual therapy space The environment is designed specifically to support rehabilitation rather than requiring doctors to adapt traditional exam or treatment spaces for rehab patients. Collaborative Care You’ll work alongside veterinarians and rehabilitation professionals with approximately a 3:1 staff-to-doctor ratio. Collaboration is an important part of the role. You’ll partner with the medical team and pet families to monitor progress, modify treatment plans, and establish realistic goals for each patient.
