Responsibilities Provide preventative, wellness and medical care for companion animals Conduct physical examinations and develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans Manage a varied general practice caseload Perform routine surgical and dental procedures according to experience Utilise available diagnostic resources to support clinical decision-making Communicate treatment recommendations clearly and compassionately with pet owners Build strong, long-term client relationships Collaborate with veterinarians and support team members Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records Uphold high standards of patient care and client communication Pursue individual clinical interests and continuing professional development Candidate Profile DVM, VMD or equivalent veterinary degree Eligible to obtain veterinary licensure in North Carolina Strong foundation in small animal general practice medicine Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Collaborative and team-oriented approach Commitment to high-quality patient and client care Interest in continued clinical and professional development Applications are welcomed from veterinarians who want to strengthen their general practice experience while developing additional areas of clinical interest.
