Overview
Our established non-profit is seeking compassionate veterinarians to join our mission to provide low-cost standard veterinary care to pets that are the most vulnerable. Despite being a low-cost facility, we pay our veterinarians and staff very well and give "gold standard" treatment to all who bring their pets here. Low-cost does NOT mean low quality. We work as a team in an environment of open communication with resources to assist our veterinarians in their heroic efforts. Schedule is flexible and allows a work-life balance. Always room for growth. We just completed the construction of our second-floor state-of-the-art low-cost veterinary hospital. We seek 2-3 wellness veterinarians to join our current team of animal-loving warriors (veterinary technical assistants, spay/neuter veterinarians, medical team, and administration.) They are a highly efficient, highly experienced team committed to providing compassionate care to dogs, cats (and their humans!)
This location is in downtown Gastonia, NC near the baseball stadium and County Police Department
Requirements
Most wellness visits are for routine procedures and involve vaccinations, skin conditions, nail clipping, dental care and other non-emergency visits. We provide you with a Vet Tech and Vet Assistant. Paid lunch. Our Wellness Vet typically sees 18-20 pets per day.
