Requirements
We are working on behalf of a well established, community focused small animal hospital in Creedmoor, NC that is looking for a Relief Veterinarian to help provide ongoing coverage. This is a friendly, close knit practice that takes time with every patient and gives clients clear, honest information about their options. Shifts are available Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, with a protected lunch break. The hospital is genuinely flexible about what coverage looks like. Whether you would prefer a full schedule, appointments only, surgery only mornings (dental extraction experience is especially welcome), or shortened hours, they are open to a setup that works for you Appointments are booked in 30 minute slots, and nail trims and similar visits are handled as tech appointments, so your time goes into the medicine. On surgery days, mornings are set aside for two or three procedures at most, mainly spays, neuters, lumpectomies, and abscess drainage, with appointments in the afternoon. The team handles dental cleanings, and the DVM performs any extractions. You will be supported by three highly experienced veterinary assistants, each with at least five years in practice, who take on the work a technician would elsewhere. A guest house is also available for the relief vet to use, which makes this an easy option even if you are traveling in from outside the area. If you are looking for a steady block of relief work with a supportive team and a schedule that respects your time, this is well worth a conversation.
