A well-established small animal hospital in Clayton, NC is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its friendly, experienced team. This is a long-standing community practice with roots dating back to 1986, offering comprehensive medical, surgical, preventive, diagnostic, grooming, and advanced care services for companion animals. The hospital is known for treating pets like their own and has built a strong reputation locally for compassionate, high-quality care. You’ll be joining a sizeable multi-doctor team, giving you the opportunity to collaborate with a broad range of experienced clinicians while still enjoying the feel of a local, relationship-led practice. The hospital offers wellness and preventive care, testing and diagnostics, advanced medical care, surgical procedures, and grooming, with support from nearby emergency partners for after-hours critical monitoring. This role would suit a veterinarian who enjoys building lasting client relationships, working up cases thoroughly, communicating clearly with pet owners, and contributing to a genuinely supportive hospital culture.
