Atlas is proud to partner with a well-respected small animal conveniently located just 15 minutes from Memphis, in the welcoming community of Southaven, MS. This clinic is currently expanding and looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its talented and collaborative team! Whether you're an experienced doctor seeking your next challenge or a new graduate looking for exceptional mentorship and guidance, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow in a supportive, high-quality clinical environment. The practice offers a wide range of services, including general wellness and preventive care, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and laser therapy, supported by in-house diagnostics and imaging capabilities like ultrasound and digital radiography. This clinic handles a robust surgical caseload—from routine procedures to dental and some urgent care cases—making it an ideal environment for veterinarians who enjoy or want to further develop their surgical skills. Mentorship is readily available for those looking to build confidence in more complex procedures, and the clinic is fully committed to helping every doctor thrive. You’ll be supported by an experienced and well-trained team, with a strong 2-3:1 technician-to-doctor ratio, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine while being backed by capable, reliable support staff. The schedule is designed with balance in mind: a 4-day work week from 7:30am to 5:30pm, with just one Saturday morning shift per month. The ideal candidate will bring compassion, curiosity, and strong communication skills to the role. A DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree is required. Surgical experience is a plus but not essential—mentorship will be provided for the right candidate eager to learn and grow.
