Are you ready to step into a true leadership role where you can shape clinical standards, mentor fellow doctors, and still practice high-quality medicine your way? We’re excited to be working with a progressive, AAHA-accredited, multi-site veterinary group in the West St. Louis County that is seeking a Medical Director for their Manchester location. This is a modern, general practice/urgent care hybrid facility, designed to offer both routine and advanced case exposure whilst maintaining a healthy work/life balance. The hospital has been established since the fall of 2023 and forms part of a respected network that has been serving the St. Louis community for over two decades. The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical capabilities, supporting canine, feline, reptile, and pocket pet patients. With a strong technician-to-doctor ratio and highly trained support teams, the structure here allows veterinarians to focus on medicine rather than administrative tasks. As Medical Director, you’ll lead clinical standards across GP and Urgent Care services, mentor associate veterinarians, and partner with leadership on growth strategy and recruitment. You’ll maintain a consistent schedule choosing from 6-hour or 12-hour shifts between 8am–8pm, with rotating weekend requirements. Financially, this role reflects the level of leadership expected, offering up to $250,000 total earning potential (ProSal with no negative accrual), up to a $50,000 bonus, plus an annual Medical Director stipend. There is also a partnership/buy-in opportunity for those looking to take the next step into ownership while maintaining clinical autonomy and the support of a stellar management and operational team.
