Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic assessments Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clients Perform routine and soft-tissue surgical procedures (as skill level allows) Prescribe medications and administer vaccinations Interpret laboratory results, radiographs, and diagnostic imaging Maintain accurate and timely medical records Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding care options, prognosis, and preventive medicine Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient patient care Uphold clinic standards, protocols, and ethical practices Must Have: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited institution Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Missouri Strong clinical and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Commitment to high standards of patient care and client service Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Nice to Have: Experience with soft-tissue surgery and dentistry Interest in preventative care and client education Familiarity with electronic medical record systems Desire for continuing education and professional development What’s Great About This Job?
