Job Description

Looking for a place where your ideas matter, your personality is celebrated, and your work-life balance is respected? Atlas has partnered with a vibrant, family-owned gem just outside Minneapolis that's been part of the local community for over 65 years. The hospital is privately-owned across two locations, this hospital combines deep community roots with modern technology and a collaborative, drama-free culture that truly values its people. The hospital is seeking a personable and motivated Associate Veterinarian to join the team. The practice is fully equipped with four exam rooms, digital X-ray, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, cold laser, and comprehensive in-house IDEXX lab capabilities. Advanced diagnostics such as AI-powered cytology and fecal analysis are available through their nearby sister facility, and a visiting ultrasonographer supports more complex imaging needs. You’ll be joining a supportive team that includes a comprehensive team of support staffs — many of whom have been with the practice long term (one lead tech has been on board for 35+ years!). There are also three other veterinarians available for collaboration and mentorship. The schedule is built to promote a healthy work-life balance, with two dedicated surgery days per week, protected 90-minute lunch breaks, and a consistent weekday schedule — no weekends required. Wednesday afternoons are a regular half-day, giving you time to recharge mid-week. The caseload focuses on preventative medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery, with appointment times designed to give you the space to provide excellent care. This is a rare chance to practice high-quality care in a privately owned hospital that values your individuality—and your time. Ready to build the career you imagined when you started this journey?
