Blue Cross Animal Hospital is a facility fully equipped with all types of care for dogs and cats, from simple vaccinations, preventative and wellness visits to emergencies and complex medical and surgical cases. We also carry prescription diets both for dogs as well as cats. Dr. Sharma has many years experience in veterinary medicine and is a highly trained surgeon with advanced training in endocrinology. He earned his DVM in 1988 in India, his PhD in 1999 in Australia and his post doctorate in 2002 at the University of Michigan. He has published many research papers in peer-reviewed journals. He specializes in hormone related diseases, such as diabetes, Addison's and Cushing's disease and thyroid disorders. He also has a special interest in soft tissue and bone surgeries (anterior Cruciate ligament and luxating patella surgeries). A board certified surgeon can also be invited to the practice for more complicated cases.

Blue Cross Animal Hospital is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician who wants to grow their career with a team-centered practice. Our ideal team member is passionate about animal wellness, has the ability to play a vital role in providing quality medicine, is service-oriented, and thrives in a busy environment. They need to be confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, knowledge of x-ray and proper positioning, experience properly handling and restraining animals, using in-clinic laboratory equipment, and dispensing and administering medicine prescribed by the veterinarian. We are a busy three-doctor practice looking for a great and passionate LVT to assist in training, growth, and flow within the practice. Blue Cross Animal Hospital has a long-standing loyal client base, so we strive to make client education a priority. We work with doctors who specialize in Endocrinology and embrace education in the veterinary industry for themselves and the staff.
