Our team includes six full-time veterinarians, highly skilled licensed technicians and veterinary assistants, and a collaborative support staff that allows our doctors to focus on practicing high-quality medicine. While our primary focus is companion animal medicine, we also provide care for small mammals, birds, and other exotic pets. Our team includes a veterinarian with expertise in integrative medicine, allowing us to offer additional treatment options tailored to each patient's needs. About the Position Paw Paw Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team in Paw Paw, Michigan. Whether you're an experienced veterinarian looking for a collaborative practice or a new graduate seeking mentorship, you'll be joining a team that enjoys practicing quality medicine while supporting one another professionally and personally. Responsibilities include: -Performing comprehensive physical examinations and developing diagnostic and treatment plans. -Providing wellness and preventive care, including vaccinations and client education. -Diagnosing and treating medical conditions using modern diagnostic equipment. -Performing routine surgical and dental procedures. -Maintaining accurate medical records. -Communicating clearly and compassionately with clients regarding treatment options and follow-up care. -Collaborating with our veterinarians, technicians, and assistants to provide exceptional patient care. What We're Looking For -Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) degree from an accredited institution. -Current Michigan veterinary license or eligibility for licensure. -Strong medical, surgical, and diagnostic skills. -Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. -A collaborative, team-oriented mindset. -Commitment to practicing compassionate, evidence-based medicine. -Interest in continued learning and professional development. -Experience in general practice is welcome, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
