We’re looking for a dynamic and compassionate Medical Director to lead a team at a highly respected animal welfare organization, and directly shape the quality of care for both shelter and clinic animals in Detroit, MI. In this exciting role, you won’t just be practicing medicine – you’ll be leading it. You’ll take on the responsibilities of a veterinarian, from diagnosing and treating various cases to performing lifesaving surgeries. But beyond that, you’ll manage and mentor an amazing veterinary team, consult on challenging medical cases and be the go-to decision-maker. As Medical Director, you’ll oversee every aspect of veterinary operations, from hiring and training to ensuring compliance and budget goals.
