Our 10,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art hospital is open 24/7/365! We strive to serve the communities throughout West Michigan, including Grand Rapids, Holland, Grand Haven, Muskegon, Newaygo, Ionia, Wayland, and all points in between by providing the best in emergency veterinary care for over 30 years.
Animal Emergency and Specialty Hospital is a growing referral and emergency practice in Byron Center, Michigan. We are expanding to a second, multi-specialty 10,000+ square foot location with state-of-the art equipment including CT, Ultrasound, etc.

Here, you’ll play a critical role in providing gold-standard care. Make a meaningful impact by participating in clinical trials that drive advancements in veterinary care and improve the lives of pets!In Your Day-to-Day, You Will Provide compassionate animal care by supporting patient comfort, performing safe restraint, and assisting the medical team with daily patient needs. Help maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked hospital by restocking supplies and ensuring treatment areas are ready for patient care. Assist with bathing and grooming patients as needed to promote their health, comfort, and well-being. Support a safe, welcoming environment by helping maintain the hospital, lobby, restrooms, and surrounding grounds. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing learning opportunities to continually develop your veterinary skills. Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and fellow support staff to ensure exceptional patient care and a positive client experience.
