Medical Director in Brewer, ME Brewer Veterinary Clinic is looking for an experienced and collaborative Medical Director to help lead our team and shape the next chapter of our practice. Our established three-doctor small animal practice in Brewer, Maine, is growing, and we’re looking for a Medical Director who can bring clinical experience, mentorship, and fresh ideas to an already talented team. Brewer Veterinary Clinic is an AAHA-accredited, high-volume small animal practice with a loyal client base and a team committed to providing compassionate, high-quality medicine. Our state-of-the-art facility includes digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, IDEXX diagnostic equipment, and an impressive surgical suite—giving our doctors the tools and resources to practice the level of medicine they’re proud of. As Medical Director, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact without having to do it alone. You’ll partner closely with the Hospital Manager, Regional Operations Manager, and Rarebreed support teams while helping guide medical standards, mentor fellow veterinarians, strengthen hospital culture, and identify opportunities for continued growth. This is a hands-on clinical leadership role, so you’ll still have the opportunity to see patients, build client relationships, and practice medicine while helping shape the clinical direction of the hospital.
