Bush Veterinary Neurology has four locations across 2 states! Our clinics are operated by board certified neurologists that provide same-day life-saving neurosurgery and long-term medical management. Our hospitals house state of the art equipment to provide advanced diagnostic testing including cerebrospinal fluid collection/analysis, computed tomography, electroencephalography, MRI and more! Our neurologists perform both spinal and brain surgeries. Some of these surgeries include intervertebral disc surgery, brain tumor removal, foramen magnum decompression, ventricular shunt replacement and more!! Primary Responsibilities of our Registered Veterinary Technician As an overnight Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional, dedicated care to our post-operative patients during their immediate recovery phase. Your responsibilities will include: Providing high-quality medical and post-operative nursing care. Monitoring and documenting patient vitals and critical neurological conditions overnight. Venipuncture and IV catheter placement. Drug calculations and medication administration (including IV). Plus exciting cross-training opportunities with our advanced imaging department (including MRI scans) to fully utilize your skill set! Candidate Requirements as a Registered Veterinary Technician Active Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license (or currently enrolled in an accredited RVT/LVT program). At least 2 years of experience as an RVT (or 2 years as a Veterinary Assistant). Eager to learn, adapt, and work independently during overnight hours. A strong foundation in veterinary technical skills and a great attitude. Bonus Points: Experience with EzyVet!
