Job Description

Veterinarian / Medical Director Catonsville, MD | Full-Time Compensation: $170,000–$190,000 base + quarterly ProSal + Medical Director stipend / profit sharing We’re working on a Veterinary Medical Director opportunity in the Catonsville area with a growing companion-animal hospital that is expanding its mix of general practice and urgent care services. This is a great fit for an experienced veterinarian who wants to stay active clinically while taking on a larger role in mentoring doctors, guiding medical standards, developing the team, and helping shape the future direction of the hospital. The opportunity includes: $170K–$190K base salary Quarterly ProSal bonus No negative accrual Additional Medical Director stipend and/or profit sharing 401(k) with employer match Health, life, and disability benefits Paid parental leave Continuing education support Leadership training and mentorship Student loan support resources Pet-care discounts and additional wellness benefits The hospital is building out a hybrid urgent care and general practice model, giving the Medical Director the opportunity to influence both clinical services and long-term growth. The schedule spans a seven-day operation, with the hospital open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Candidates should have a DVM/VMD or equivalent, be licensed or eligible for licensure in Maryland, and hold or be eligible for both DEA and Maryland CDS registration.
